Lasting [ learn more ] ensures retention of a climbing shoe’s critical fit. After the shoes have been lasted and the soles have been removed, the rands are inspected for delamination,rand repair (patch) or replacement. Because the rand is sandwiched between the insole and the sole, re-randing can only be done at the time of resoling. The shoe with the new sole and rand is set on the sole press. Air bags rise and encapsulate the boot which molds the rand exactly to the shape of the original climbing shoe.

We provide a choice of rubbers for soles and rands including: 5.10, C-4, XSV and ESV (VIBRAM)
